As salaamu Alaykum,
Ladies lets talk…..
I would like to start by posting here what the word “woman” means .
From the American Free English Dictionary: sweetheart, partner, significant other, inamorata, lover, female person who plays an important part in the life of a specific man.
We also find that in Islaam some of these definitions fall right in line. (Note there are more definitions but I only mentioned a few that are necessary for this post)
For example looking into the word Nisaa. The definition for this word coincides with meaning to forget… One may ask “how does the word woman have any connection with forgetting”
Well … women are supposed to make our men FORGET the Dunyaa and troubles once they are with us ….. Our nature with men and without is that of nurturing , loving, kind, sweet, beautiful…simply … Feminine in nature….
We had to begin with the definition to bring attention to the nature of women today.
Today we have lost our feminine ways… we have become very aggressive and hard to deal with (not speaking for EVERY woman .. not even the majority.. just what I’ve witnessed very often)
The once soft spoken , elegant, easy to get along with female has now become the sound of a braying animal.
The once elegant moving and looking female has become a sweat pants, T-shirt wearing female.
The once easy to get along with woman has now become very assertive in the WRONG areas and argumentative over the most trivial affairs.
This has been our condition for the past few decades actually.
Some people may want to get into the reasons on why and history behind this as certainly there are many.
But my intent here isn’t to get into any of that. There are so many posts on those topics from more learned individuals that you can find.
Rather , my intent here is to chat about the solutions to where we’ve arrived today! We are already in a rut and we need to get out ASAP.
As women we must see our situations and rectify and stop playing the blame game…. its always “someone elses fault” mentality…
We need to know how to get back to our feminine roots! The way the sahaabiyaat were… the best of women …
High Emaan Good manners Educated Islaamically & Secularly Good hygiene In shape Beautified Calm Organized Soft spoken Caring Loving A pleasure to be with Beautiful Speech Good to others
The Femininity category of my blog gets into these steps one at a time on how we can all rectify ourselves inside and out and be better muslim women for ourselves and Ummah as a whole… because surely……. We’ve lost it…
To be continued In shaa Allaah…
